Portrait of an unidentified boy with hand colored cheeks and a hand colored drum standing by a table. Portrait is displayed in a scalloped sheet brass mat and gilt inner frame. Inside the case behind the image is written in pencil "J. P. Ball Artist, 28 4th Street Cincinnati, Ohio Dec. 31st 52."
